WHAT ARE WAX MELTS?
Wax melts are wickless scented pieces of wax that you melt on a burner/warmer. They come in different fun shapes and sizes.

WAX MELTS ARE FLAME-FREE
Candles cause an estimated 15,600 house fires each year. With wax melts, you can enjoy a nice smelling home without worrying of causing a fire. There are 2 ways to melt your wax melts. You can use a tea light or electric wax warmers. If you don’t want to deal with open flames, opt for the electric wax warmers. You just plug them in and turn on the switch to start melting your wax. Once you’re done using it, just turn the switch off.
WAX MELTS ARE SOOT-FREE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
Candles produce soot and over time it can stain or discolor your ceilings, walls and furniture in close proximity. Not only is soot bad for the air, it can also negatively affect your health. With wax melts there’s no need for the production of candle vessels. Wax melts don’t have wicks or containers like candles, so they are burned leaving no waste.
WAX MELTS ARE CHEAPER THAN CANDLES
Considering the burn time and the typical retail price they’re sold at, wax melts are more budget-friendly. There are far less materials needed to make wax melts for example, candles require wicks and containers. Also with candles, you’re supposed to stop lighting the candle leaving ~1/4” of wax from the bottom of the container. With wax melts, you can reuse the scent over and over until the scent dissipates.
WAX MELTS ARE SUPER CONVENIENT
As there is no open flame to be concerned with, you can simply turn on your wax warmer and forget about it! While it is suggested not to leave a wax warmer/burner unattended, it’s not much of a hazard as a lit candle. Also, there are some care steps when lighting your candle, for example trimming your wick and to melt your candle all the way until it reaches the edge of the container on your first burn. With wax melts, you don’t have to worry about any of that.
YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR FRAGRANCE
With candles you can’t control the intensity of the fragrance. With wax melts, you can control the scent easily with portion control. If you want a lighter fragrance, just break off a small amount of wax and if you want a stronger fragrance, melt a larger chunk of wax.
