Hello! I’m Jane the founder of Nabi & Co. and this is our story…
I’ve always had an obsession with candles. I loved them for their delicious scents and burning flame shadows against my walls at night. The cozy aesthetic of it all. Candles keep me calm and at peace leaving all the chaos out the door. They have become an important part of my lifestyle.
One fact about me is I love learning new hobbies. It embarrasses me to admit but yes, I start new hobbies and never finish. One of my favorite platforms is PINTEREST. I was browsing Pinterest one day and saw very cute decor candles and I really wanted to learn how to make them. I bought my first batch of wax, dye, fragrance and tools. I had so much fun making my own candles I decided to create NABI & CO..

Starting my own business, I knew there was a lot to learn. Even if you think you know it all, there’s a lot more you don’t know. Never stop learning! While researching, I came across wooden wicks. I’ve actually never seen them before. I made my first wooden wick candle to see what the rave was about and WOW! How can you not fall in love with them? Once you start with wooden wicks you can’t go back. It was love at first sight.
At Nabi & Co., we use 100% natural and untreated wooden wicks. They are non-toxic, have a clean burn and make crackling sounds. It’s such a vibe. Don’t knock it till you try it!
Our candles are made with an all natural, biodegradable virgin coconut soy wax blend. It is gluten free, toxin free, paraben free and phthalate free. We use hemp soy wax blend for our hemp collection which is made with natural organic hemp, soy, coconut and food-grade paraffin wax. Also gluten free, toxin free, paraben free and phthalate free.
We also sell cute decorative candles which are meant to be used as decoration. I have made them with pre-waxed eco wicks and added fragrance for those who choose to light them. We have unscented options for those who choose to use them as props or simply decor for your home or office.
This is a one woman show with Nabi (my cat) being my #1 fan. I do everything from candle making to package designing, etc. all on my own so color, scent and appearance may vary slightly and also may have some imperfections. It’s a lot of work but I enjoy making each candle and can’t wait for you to open your package.
