CANDLE CARE & SAFETY GUIDE

Step 1: trim

Make sure to trim your wick 1/4” before every use for a cleaner burn. The awesome thing about our wooden wicks is you don’t have to do that! Our wooden wicks have a self-trimming effect.

Step 2: Burn

Make sure your candle melts all the way across during your first use to avoid tunneling. It’s so important to completely melt the wax to the edge of the container because wax has memory. The first burn tends to set the radius of the melt.

Step 3: Placing

Be sure you place your candle on a flat, heat resistant surface away from flammable objects. If you’re lighting a decorative candle, melt your candle on a flat, heat resistant object away from flammable objects.

Step 4: Time

Burn for only 3-4 hours at a time.

Step 5: Cracking

Make sure that once your candle only has 1/4”-1/2” of wax left, you stop burning it. If the flame reaches the bottom of the container, too much heat may cause the glass to crack.

Step 6: Keep

Burn candle out of reach of children and pets. The delicious scents may attract your cute little babies so make sure your candle is placed high off the ground. There are some essential oils that are toxic for your pets. Absorbing essential oils through the skin are very dangerous so keep your pets away from lit candles. Make sure you’re burning candles in a well ventilated room. Never leave the candle unattended!
